Happy Senior College Choice Day! Today students contined on their essay rewrite. Students then worked on the 2006 and 1999 Rhetorical Analysis Qs - analyzing the prompt, annotating the article, writing a claim, and listing bullet point support (via outline form) for a potential essay. Complete in CN: In paragraph 3, Gould state, "I have the greatest respect for Broca's meticulous procedure. His numbers are sound." Despite this praise, Gould goes on to refute Broca's findings. Complete in CN: In paragraph 3, Gould state, "I have the greatest respect for Broca's meticulous procedure. His numbers are sound." Despite this praise, Gould goes on to refute Broca's findings. What vulnerability does Gould find in Broca's conclusions? Does Gould's praise of Broca strengthen or weaken his own argument? Explain.

Began Gender Unit. Read intro: p. 347 and answer the focus question. In addition, identify the differences between gender and sex, men vs. women, and males vs. females. What does "socially constructed gender roles" really mean? All in CN.
